Mission Statement
To advance the best interest of the purebred dog and the dog fancier in all
matters. To encourage and support CKC sanctioned activities, and training to
prepare dogs and handlers in these activities. To emphasize the value of pure
breeding. To create an appreciation on the part of the public of the value of
pedigree dogs; and to foster and maintain within the Club mutual respect and
the highest level of sportsmanship. The Club shall work in cooperation with the
Canadian Kennel Club, and may affiliate itself with organizations devoted to
complementary objectives.
The Fredericton Kennel Club and its members abide by the Breeder Code of
Ethics, and the Member Code of Ethics, of the Canadian Kennel Club.
